Tell someone a problem you have and let them know that you can't fix it... Most people will just listen empathetically, but if they like you, they will offer solutions.

Watch if a person changes their body language when you enter the room... Humans almost always subconsciously shift their body position when someone they like enters the room.
3⃣ The "Barrier" rule
Next time you are with this person, start putting things in between the two of you... If they like you, they are going to start moving those items to the side.
